Chicken Packets

Posted on: May 17, 2010

These are quick and a great comfort food.

3 oz cream cheese (or neufchatel), softened
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dehydrated onion
2 Tablespoons milk
2 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
1 package of refrigerated crescent rolls

If you don’t have cooked chicken on hand, bake two chicken breasts (or your choice of meat) for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Mix together the butter, cream cheese, and spices. Slowly add the milk to thin the mixture. Fold in the chicken.

Separate the crescent rolls into four rectangles, gently sealing the seam with your finger. Add the chicken mixture to half of each crescent rolls. Fold over the rectangle and seal the edges.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
